Drifted Rain is a free ambient sound mixer. Layer rain over a crackling fire, add distant thunder, soften it all with brown noise — and shape the exact backdrop your evening, your focus session, or your sleep needs. Press play and drag a slider; that's the whole thing.

Generated in your browser, not streamed

Most sound apps stream large audio files. Drifted Rain doesn't. Nearly every sound you hear is synthesized live in your browser using the Web Audio API — the fire, the ocean swell, the birdsong — and the generated sounds never settle into an obvious loop. (Rain uses one short, seamless field recording for realism.) That means it loads almost instantly, barely buffers, uses very little data, and works offline once the page is open.
